My Chronicle Box - What's It All About

 I am book obsessed (if you hadn't realised already) and I'm quite partial to a good book subscription box. But with so many out there it can be hard to choose just which one to sign up for. 

I've been super lucky this month as I was chosen to a summer rep for My Chronicle Box and I know I know, I could just be saying nice things but being totally honest, this is a sub box well worth paying for and I'm writing this post to tell you exactly why.

Based in Yorkshire, their slogan is Read. Relax. Feel Good. They are talking my language.

The boxes that they promote are crime & mystery fiction and science fiction & fantasy. Aiming to offer the most recent releases, this means as customers we get offered first editions, the best upcoming authors and all the latest reading trends.

I am kindly being sent their monthly crime subscription which includes:

* a signed, first edition crime novel, letter from the author and 1-3 bookish goodies to add to the fun.

My first box contained a first edition copy of Miss Aldridge regrets as well as a gorgeous candle, the scent is amazing. 

Customers can subscribe to pay month-to-month or buy a set number of months 1, 3, 6 or 12 months and with prices starting at £27.50 per month with free UK delivery, I'd call it money well spent.

They announce the book in advance. 

 

The quarterly subscriptions offered include:

* a choice of crime or scifi & fantasy genres

* 3 books in each box (a mixture of hardbacks and paperbacks) sent every 3 months in Feb, May, August and Nov

* signed or with a signed book plate, author letter when possible and 1-3 bookish goodies

* books are kept as a surprise though I will tell anyone who asks :)

The price for this is £48 with free UK delivery - this is better value overall especially for those overseas because of reduced postage costs.
