Hello you lovely reading lot, a big, warm welcome to this weeks Read With Me. And a meaningful thank you to everyone who took the time to link up last week.
Can you believe that we are at the end of October?
We were on our half term break last week, which gave me time to catch up on a bit of reading and now begins another term at school.
I've been working with a group of children in my class with an intervention called Reading Champions. The idea behind it is to try and encourage reading as well as giving them more of a positive look at books. Reading for pleasure rather than just for learning.
Last term we read a book and then created some drawings based on events that happened in the book. This time I've decided to read Andy J Shepherd's The Boy Who Grew Dragons with them. Any ideas for reading activities would be very much appreciated.
My favourite post last week came from Kate with her review of Dawn French's novel A Tiny Bit Marvellous.
On to the link up. If you'd like to know more about this linky do visit my Read With Me page. For all regular linkers you know the drill, max of two posts and please make the effort to comment on others. You can of course share my badge below.
Happy reading.
Thanks for featuring me and as ever thanks so very much for getting me back to my joy of reading. #ReadWithMe
