Read With Me 2019 #2

Hello all you lovely lot and welcome to the latest Read With Me link up. A big thank you to everyone who shared their posts last week.

I've already made my way through most of the books that I was bought for Christmas so it's lucky my birthday happens to be at the end of the month so I can replenish my 'stock'. I like to have a mix of real books and digital books.

And this could be the year that I persuade my husband to build me a nice big book case so that I don't have to keep donating all of my books to charity after I've read them.

What do you do with your books once you've read them?

Now my favourite post last week came from Natalie over at The Spoonie Mummy with her round up of books, there's a really great selection to get you inspired for the new year.

On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.

Read With Me

Happy reading.

  1. My husband has removed all my bookshelves from the house! He just doesn't understand books and reading. I've got books piled next to my bed, in my wardrobe and in my son's wardrobe. I do need to start passing more on to charity.

  2. Just sorted out a cupboard to store books in as they were everywhere! This year I want to read 52 books. I shared this information with my OH who said I was already behind. This has made me all the more determined and I have finished and blogged about my first book of the year and linked up. Thanks once again for keeping reading on my mind #ReadWithMe

  3. We are drowning in books and bookcases. We have 2 bookcases in the living room, 1 in the kitchen, 1 at the bottom of the stairs, 3 at the top of the stairs and 2 in JayCee and Ella's room. We also have 11 shelves in various rooms and books piled on window sills and the tops of bookcases! I find it very hard to get rid of any books!

  4. I have mainly moved onto reading books on my phone, as son2 buys at least one new book every weekend and is gradually taking over all our bookcase space

  5. I have a whole wall as a bookcase in my study - it's bliss!
