The Christmas count down really is on now and I have to admit that I am really looking forward to the festive season. My Little Loves for the month of November has seen a bit of a winter/festive theme creeping in but just wait for Decembers post!
Read
As well as fantastic parents evening reports for all of my girls, I had a fantastic letter through for my eldest saying that she has got exceptional potential and will be pushed to further her potential, something that even she was excited about. One proud mum here!
Watched
Well it had to be Stranger Things 2 didn't. Anyone else a little disappointed by the seasons ending though? I also enjoyed watching Gunpowder, and not just to stare at Kit Harrington if you know what I mean! Oh and I've also been watching a lot of Christmas adverts, better than the TV programmes sometimes aren't they. I've been trying to pick my favourite and I think it has to go to Aldi this year with the classic line, "I think I pea'd myself!"
Made
Last year I made my first ever Christmas cake and this year I've done it again only I've made it a bit earlier so that I can keep syringing in brandy, I mean who doesn't love a booze filled cake. I won't decorate it until a couple of days before Christmas day but I have already bought some cute festive toppings for it.
Wore
It's got cold, have you noticed? This of course means it is time to dig out the hats, scarves and gloves! My 7 year old bought herself a new bobble hat the other day and I'll admit I now want it too (although in baby pink if I can.) and the bonus being it was only £2 in Primark, got to love a stylish bargain.
And lastly
My eldest girl is collecting those Star Wars tsum tsums too! We found lots at Clintons cards. xx
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds like fun to collect. My kids love collecting things. Sounds like you had a good week. Sorry for delayed comment from last week it was Thanksgiving playing catch up now on all #littleloves Have a great weekend ahead.
