Hello and welcome to this weeks Read With Me. I've made it to the last week of term so the count down is well and truly on for the Summer holidays!
I'm planning on taking the kids down to the library to join in with the summer reading challenge, this years theme is animal agents, will you be joining in with your children?
My favourite post last week came from All About Mummy with her review of the book The Missing hours.
On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.
Happy reading
We've never done the Summer Reading Challenge, but I know a lot of kids get a lot of enjoyment out of it. My kids are definitely too old for it now!
ReplyDeleteMight try the Summer Reading Challenge with the grandson.
ReplyDeleteBack later to check out all your posts :-)
We picked up the leaflet for the Summer Reading Challenge at our library but I kinda think BookBairn is too young to understand it. Though she would love to win a medal at the end so I'll probably do it for her! Looking forward to seeing what your girls choose!
ReplyDeleteWe always do the summer reading challenge, my kids love it. However, we are three weeks in this year and registered, but not started out books yet. Hope they enjoy it xx
ReplyDeleteLOL still plenty of time ;)
DeleteThe Summer Reading Challenge is such a great idea and one I always intend to get involved in but then don't for some daft reason or more likely a total lack of organisation. Love your linky - not about self promotion so much as a genuine love of books, all power to you!
