Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Read With Me. How are you all this week? After my surge in reading recently, it came to a halt last week when it was back to doing lots of coursework so I've been reading a lot or work books and not a lot else.
Then there was my eldest who was sitting her SATS last week so I've been doing a bit of revision with her, not going to lie I'm glad they are out the way for her.
My favourite post last week came from the lovely Story Snug with her post about the book The Bookshop Girl, I've fallen in love with the cover!
On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.
Happy reading.
Revision for SATs? It didn't even cross my mind to do any! The week went very smoothly for us. Now it's on to the big one - the GCSEs!
ReplyDeleteYes school sent home bits so that they'd be prepared for how the tests would be.
DeleteGlad the sats are finished and your daughter can enjoy the summer now #readwithme
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you've got SATS out of the way. My boys have both got Test Week this week
ReplyDeleteGlad SATS are out of the way, it seems so wrong how much pressure primary kids are under :(
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the Story Snug mention. The Bookshop Girl is a fantastic story :o)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you can relax now that SATs are over.
