Hello everyone and welcome to this weeks Read With Me. The girls have been off school for the past week, the Easter holidays so I'll admit I've not done a lot of reading at all, between course work and keeping the kids entertained I've found it a tad difficult to find some time for books.
Although unlike me the kids have been busy reading, they've had some lovely books through to review including Daisy and the Trouble With Chocolate and The Magic in My Name, so look out for reviews coming up.
My favourite post last week came from Shell Louise who got me thinking about book covers with her review of Amy Snow. Why is it that books are released with so many differing covers and it seems like America always get the best covers too.
On to the link up. Newbies do look at the Read With Me page, regulars get linking (max of 2 posts/videos), comment on a couple of other posts and perhaps consider displaying my badge of linking back somehow.
Happy reading.
It always feels like the US get better covers doesn't it? But then they also pay a lot more for their books so I don't envy them that much! x
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartwarming initiative! "Read With Me" is such a wonderful way to encourage a love for reading and build literacy skills. Programs like this make a real difference by creating a supportive environment where children feel excited and motivated to explore new stories. I love that it fosters not only reading skills but also bonds between mentors and young readers. Thank you for sharing this inspiring project—it's great to see efforts that nurture curiosity and imagination in children! uncontested divorce attorneys in virginia beach

Such a great post! I love how you shared your thoughts on the book. It’s always refreshing to hear different perspectives. I’m definitely adding it to my reading list now! Keep up the great work, and I look forward to more posts in the future.
