A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of reviewing a newly released Project MC2 doll, this coincided with the release of the TV programme under the same name. Since then my girls have become huge fans of the show and they've definitely all been channeling their inner geek because they've come to realise that actually being smart is rather cool.
Fast forward a couple of years and Project MC2 has gone from strength to strength with another season of the show released and more merchandise available to buy too including more dolls with new characters and plenty of accessories to choose from as well. We were recently sent the Ulitmate Spy Bag to put it through its paces.

We were recently sent the Ulitmate Spy Bag to put it through its paces.
Included in the bag was a : finger printing kit, torch, magnifying glass and a secret message launcher but you wouldn't recognise them as they come cleverly disguised as a nail polish, a lipstick, a make-up compact and a perfume bottle. This is an impressive piece of kit and it can all be neatly hidden away in what looks like a rather stylish bag.
Now is the time be part of the NOV8 team, this is another toy from the range that gets kids loving science and wanting to experiment and I'll admit it helped that they finger printing powder could also be used as a blusher as well. It appeals to a wide age range, my youngest is 4 and my eldest is 11 and they all found different ways to enjoy playing with it.
There are so many different pieces included that it is easy for kids to share between them. With test tubes, beakers and a top secret guide with more ideas for experiments, the possibilities of play really do seem endless.
As a parent what I did find annoying is that you had to supply certain things for the experiments suggested to work, it would have been nice for the whole kit to be supplied so that it could be used properly straight out of the packaging.
Priced at £39.99, it isn't the cheapest of toys but it certainly offers hours of entertainment. Not only putting across the idea of forensics and fingerprinting but also giving kids the opportunity to put their imaginations to the test, I mean who wouldn't want to be a secret agent and even better when you get to carry around such pretty accessories, time to investigate in style.
That looks like a brilliant toy for children of the right age! There are so many games you can play with it - spies, police, detectives. The Tubblet would have loved it.
