DC SuperHero Girls Book Review and Giveaway

Move over boys, the girls are taking over. Superheroes are now sporting some real girl power in the shape of DC SuperHero Girls. My daughters were already huge fans of superheroes such as Batman (thanks Lego Batman), Spiderman and The Avengers but I can't deny that they are utterly in love with superheroes from their own gender.

They already have a collection of all of the dolls and now they've kindly been sent a set of books to read and review. These include : the power up sticker activity book, the scribble book and the wonder woman at super hero high book.

What I immediately love about these superheroes is that yes of course they appeal to girls but they are just as appealing to boys too because we all know that everyone can be super. The books are no different. Each one aged at a slightly different aged range.

The sticker activity book is targeted at children aged from 3-7 in my opinion. My 4 year old was quick to get sticking. The activities aren't the easiest so they are more suitable for the older ones but it doesn't stop younger ones from having a go.

Then we have the scribble book is perfect for any budding artist. Lots of pages for colouring, drawing and generally getting creative. A great way to get their imaginations working. My 7 year old has had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for her own super heroes.

Lastly we have the reading book, Wonder Woman at Super Hero High. This is a chapter book and it is quite a long one with 237 pages so I'd say it is more suitable for advanced readers. Packed with friendships, boys and lots of action it is a sort of coming of age story for slightly younger children.

Now if you like the sound of all of these books I have an identical set to give away to one lucky reader. All you need to do is enter the rafflecopter giveaway below, taking care to enter correctly as all entries are checked and verified. The competition will close at 11.59pm on the 30th April 2017 and is open to UK residents only.
