I took this photo a couple of weeks ago. My husband was busy trying to make a purpose made shoe rack for our porch, my youngest two were fascinated with what he was up to and of course wanted to help.
Now as you can see they were typically dressed up and there's nothing to say that Disney princesses can't be carpenters now is there. They were quite determined to join in in someway, in the end they became designated wood collectors.
It's so nice that the girls are interested in what their dad does, goes to show that no job needs to be male or female orientated as well.
This photo makes me smile! Absolutely no reason at all why princesses shouldn't do a bit of carpentry. My daughter tends to be my husband's main helper, although my eldest is good for heavy lifting and reaching high stuff these days.
ReplyDeleteGreat to know they are getting involved - Maybe they will become next Chippendale in a female version - I always say get your children involved in everything and they will soon know what they like and don't like and forge a career possibly.
ReplyDeleteHaha it looks like they're in charge and giving directions.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up
hahaha! I love their outfits. Who says princesses can't do carpentry x
ReplyDeleteNothing like two princess helpers. I hope the shoe rack worked out
