This lovely little snail was probably a bit shocked when Layla and Gracie decided to make it their new pet in the garden this week.
They thought they'd make him a bed out of grass and then also try to feed the grass to him too. Although I'm not complaining to much because at least they weren't scared to go near the snail.

My lot are very much at one with nature (unlike their mother). A couple of years ago I happened to find snails residing in Gracie's coat pockets as she wanted to take them places with her.

That's very cute! Our garden has been overrun with snails after the rain. My younger son once adopted a caterpillar called Colin. He was devastated when it died.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, it looks like he's got plenty to eat

This reminds me it must be time for snail races here on the farm, they are always a laugh
ReplyDeleteThat's funny that children like it. Very often, people are disgusted by snails. #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteBB loves bugs and insects and isn't at all squeamish - which I think is a good thing! #MySundayPhoto
ReplyDeleteAww! How cute. I am not so keen on bugs and creepy crawlies. My girls of course love anything like that x
ReplyDeleteI am scared of snails and slugs and in front of my son I always act like I am not. He is not scared of them but not keen. My son loves snakes though. Yipes! #mysundayphoto
