LOL A Keepsake Journal Book Review

LOL-keepsake-journal

Last year I reviewed the BFF Journal and it proved rather popular with my eldest daughter so when I was given the chance to review the LOL A Keepsake Journal I knew I would be in Elise's good books again.

If you were an undercover spy what would your nickname be? Would you wear a photograph of  your cat around your neck for a week? What would you do if you walked in on your favourite celebrity in the bathroom?

Find out by filling in this special journal and discovering your own unique brand of humour. This book is pratically overflowing with fill-in-the-blanks, questions and prompts about all kinds of funny things you've experienced as well as weird stuff you might experience.

When you're done, you'll have a hilarious keepsake filled with words and pictures to save and treasure forever.

This journal is well suited to my eldest daughter because not only does she love to write, she does indeed have a very unique sense of humour.

There are a wide range of activities to keep you entertained, from strange questions, to hilarious things to doodle. It definitely had my child laughing out loud and yes she was even laughing at her own jokes.

Here is just what she thought :

LOL is an amazing creation. I gave my friend the BFF Journal and she loved it, now I can see why! This is a Q and A which is full of humour, plus you don't have to think about things too much.

My favourite part is the finish the stories. It is really fun for aspiring writers like me. The one hard part is explaining how you thought of your answers but that doesn't make it less fun. The fun and humour in this journal could even inspire people to become comedians.

I love LOL and I would recommend this to young people who love a good joke and a laugh. As my final verdict, this journal really is amazing and I think my friends would all like a copy of their own.

I have to agree with my daughter's thoughts. This journal is a perfect way to get kids excited about writing, it puts an entertaining spin on it and anything that gets you smiling can't be a bad thing now can it.

This is a book that you can dip in and out of, picking it up whenever the mood strikes, and like it says in the blurb, once completed it makes for the perfect keepsake, something to look back on when your older, even better letting your kids take a peek at the kind of things that made you giggle.

Priced at £12.99, I would say this book is perfect for kids probably from the age of around 8 and upwards depending on their reading and writing abilities but it would also make a great gift for adults too.
