I think Winter was all saved up for February, it seems to have got colder rather than warmer over the past few weeks. However little glimpses of sunshine and warm days and the fact that it is now March have me longing for Spring so when the girls asked if we could buy a bunch of flowers last weekend, I couldn't pick up anything other than Daffodils.
Their vibrant yellow colouring reminds me of the sunshine and I have to admit having flowers about the home certainly brightens up the place. My girls really enjoyed watching them change as the petals began to open and reveal all the details they hold inside and they've also been helping me top up the water in the vase.
I love this photo as it shows of all of the different shades of colour, seems to pop more against the white of my dining room table. Surprising how much detail my phone can pick up. Now I've got the "flower bug", I'm wondering what kind to purchase next, what would you recommend?
Such a lovely spring time photo. I'm certainly excited for warmer days! Need to get me some daffodils!
