Read With Me 2016 #8

read with me

Welcome to this weeks Read With Me, the linky where you can link up and book/reading related posts which you might have. Thank you to everyone that managed to link up last week!. I actually went to a book shop myself last week and picked up a couple of new books, Elizabeth is Missing and I Let You Go. I'll be mentioning one of these in this months book of the month post.

I also got a lovely book from my dad as a late birthday present. He gave me Just So Stories by Rudyard Kipling. Something he remembered reading himself when he was younger. He actually found it in a charity shop, I think charity shops are great places to pick up new books to read, well new to whoever buys them anyway. And you get them at such bargain prices too!

Now my favourite post last week came from The Butterfly Mother, she wrote a review of a fantastic  book called A Monster Ate My Mum. This book sounds fantastic to me as it covers the subject of depression which I think should be talked about more openly, it isn't as taboo as some people like to think it is.

Onto this weeks link up. If you are new to Read With Me do check out what it is all about first. Regulars please getting linking (max of 2 posts), commenting and hopefully displaying my badge.
