I was recently given the opportunity alongside other bloggers to join in the #MilkDrinkersMilk challenge with Britmums and Cravendale. The project, to share our favourite ways we like to enjoy a nice big, old glass of milk or in oour favourite cup/mug, whatever our preference might be.
Now I have a confession to make, I don't like drinking milk by itself. So the challenge was left up to my children to complete. Our post is nothing fancy as from what my family tell me, we didn't need anything fancy to let you know just how tasty it can be.
The husband is already a huge fan of Cravendale, he honestly loves the stuff and would quite happily chug it out of the bottle (much to my disgust), the trouble he found was pinpointing just what made it stand out to any other milk, all he can say is that it has a freshness about it that can't be rivalled.
All of my daughters have always been big milk drinkers, something I'm not complaining about as we all know a good amount of calcium builds strong bones. They were bought up with it as part of their routine, always having a glass of milk before bed alongside mummy reading them a bedtime story.
Their love of milk hasn't changed, just where they happen to like sitting when they are drinking it has altered. And of course the older prefer to pour it themselves.
My youngest remains loyal to her routine, still enjoying sipping milk from her favourite cup in bed as I read to her.
The five year old tends to ask for milk when she is eating her lunch/dinner.
Then there's my seven year old. We can't keep her away from the Xbox so naturally her drink has to go where the Xbox is, honestly I think the controller is glued to her sometimes, if it is lost we know where to find it!
Finally we have my eldest, quite content sipping on her milk whilst reading a good book.
But I think the best combination was conjured up by a certain man in red and he enjoys a big old glass with a nice mince pie mmmmm and I'm not one to turn down a mince pie!
What's your favourite way to drink Cravendale?

I think milk straight from the fridge or hot on a night are two of life's best pleasures. Lovely post. Commenting for myself and on behalf of BritMums and thanking you for taking part
