Quotes To Inspire Around The Home

I don't know about you but I love a good quote. Something positive and inspiring. I find they can really uplift me if I'm down and motivate me when I'm in need of getting something done. So when I finally got my own home I knew I'd want to have these kind of words all around my home surrounding me.

In a bid to add a touch of decoration to our home I decided to take inspiration from the internet and create some word art of my own.

It is a simple task that anyone can do and the great thing is that it costs very little to make. All you need is your computer, a printer and a handful of picture frames.

Pic Monkey was my site of choice for writing and editing my chosen words. Using the free version I played around with fonts, colours and placement, once happy I saved my artwork and printed out onto white card.

The frames I used were bought for a pound each from the aptly named Poundland, you wouldn't know from looking at them that they were so cheap.

I had to cut down my quotes slightly to allow them to fit in the frames but once finished I just needed to decide which rooms to put them in.

My book loving eldest daughter was given the Dr Seuss quote, perfect for her personality.

Butterflies of course took pride and place in the butterfly bedroom which belongs to my youngest two.

And I decided to put the last quote in my bedroom, a nice bit of wording to read when waking and before sleeping, something to keep in mind.

What quotes would you use if you were to make some word art of your own?
