I received a lovely hamper in the post filled with 3 My First Pizza pizzas, a pizza cutter and even a table cloth which could be coloured in.
Layla made use of the table cloth immediately and she found a brilliant way to get to the pictures that she wanted to colour….
Onto the yummy mini pizzas. Thes little packages are made using 100% natural ingredients with no additives, preservatives or added sugar. Even better these pizzas contain 35% less salt than other chilled childrens pizzas.
Available in three flavours - the classic margherita, mini meatballs & veg and pesto chicken & veg
Taking less than 15 minutes to cook, the kids didn't have to wait long to dig in and they made the most of the provided pizza cutter.
The base of the pizza remained relatively soft rather than crispy which is great for little ones, much easier to chew on.
Those sneaky people at Little Dish have even popped a hidden carrot puree sauce on each pizza so your kids are getting 1 of their 5 a day even if they are reluctant to eat their vegetables.
They are a perfect size to be ate as an individual pizza or like mine for sharing when buying more than one.
It was a unanimous decision amongst the kids that the best flavour was the mini meatballs & veg (mummy actually preferred the chicken).
These pizzas are definitely a healthier alternative to other childrens pizzas available when you don't have the time to make pizza from scratch. Convinient and tasty and they can even be frozen if you want to save them for a party or a playdate perhaps.
You can find My FIrst Pizzas in Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda and ocado.com so why not give them a try and let me know what your favourite flavour is.
