11 Things Tag

It's not often I find time to do tag posts these days but when Sara from Ups & Downs, Smiles & Frowns tagged me in the 11 things tag and gave me a nudge over on Twitter I got to typing as not only did the questions she chose get me thinking, she is also a regular linker to my Read With Me linky  which I always appreciate.

So here goes nothing….

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? 
If I could live anywhere it would be Ibiza. This is a place we holiday at often and my husband and I talk regularly about buying a place there when we have the money. It holds wonderful memories.

What's your favourite time of year & why?
Without a doubt my favourite time of year is Christmas. I am the biggest kid and it is a time when so many great things happen. I get to see family members and friends who I miss throughout the year, I get time to relax and of course all of the food and presents help lighten the mood too.

What's one of your pet peeves/something that really annoys you?
Something that really gets on my nerves is nail biting, I cannot stand it and unfortunately both my husband and my eldest daughter do it gggrrrrr.

What's your favourite comfort food? 
Mmm tricky question because I love so much. I guess a really great yet simple dish is cheesy beans on toast, it is my go to when I can't be bothered to cook!

Where would you like to see yourself in ten years time?
In 10 years time I'd like to see myself happy.

What is your favourite all time movie? 
Ooooo now this one I struggled to answer. There are so many great movies but I think the one I always go back to is The Labrrynth

Do you have any pets? I'd love to hear about them. 
I don't have any pets, not sure I could handle a pet as well as 4 kids and a husband (the 5th child).

What is your favourite shop? 
My favourite shop would have to be Primark. It's so inexpensive, an abundance of bargains to be found for the whole family. I think I must go in there once a week.

What is one thing you are really good at? 
Not to blow my own trumpet but I think the one thing I'm really good at is being a mum, well atleast I hope so, check with my kids ;)

Why did you start blogging? 
I started blogging purely as a way to vent, to stop me feling so lonely when I struggled to sleep in the middle of the night.

What is one good thing you remember mostly about your childhood? 
See it is strange I don't remember a great deal about my childhood, perhaps I blocked it out for some reason but the one thing that always sticks out is the Sunday mornings I spent with my dad, going to the shop up the hill with him and getting sweets or a comic!
