The Best of British Bingo

I have to be honest, I always saw Bingo as something that old people went and played. No offence to anyone it's just I imagined lots of elderly women, like my nan, all sitting around listening (or at least trying to listen) to the numbers being called out. You know the classics like, "two fat ladies, 88".

My opinion happened to change when a couple of my friends admitted to attending bingo with their dobbers in hand and not just girl friends but friends of the male variety too, that's right ladies and gents bingo is not gender specific I'll have you know!! It seems this is the new place to be when it comes to socialising.

And a fun fact for you all, bingo is actually good for your brain, studies in the past have proven that people who play bingo fare better at certain mental activities than non bingo players. Maybe this is the key to ridding myself of my baby brain ;)

Really bingo has evolved over the last few years because like with most things, it can now be found on plenty of sites online too, so if you're like me and still feel a bit embarrassed about the prospect of stepping into a bingo hall (I've not mananged to take that step yet), you can play along in the comfort of your own home.
