They are easily stuck into knickers/pants adding an absorbent layer to your child's underwear, allowing them to go without a nappy and giving them the chance to build up their confidence without going through copious amounts of clothes, a big relief to us mums and dads.
I really liked them, soft and comfortable and a real help when going out and about.

ReplyDeleteI found the easiest way was when my children could understand, then when they have nappy free time, then that was the best time to teach them, once they had an accident a few times, and I responded to it, they soon realised

ReplyDeleteThe only potty training tip I have is be patient and expect some setbacks but work through them. First time I've had to go through this process!
ReplyDeleteBe patient - for learning to wipe use wet wipes - they give more feedback than dry toilet paper and help the child feel where the wipe is, for little boys make it a game by getting a target stuck to the back of the toilet and aiming for it (you can buy them on ebay :) )
ReplyDeleteBe persistent but patient at the same time. Always congratulate them and make a big deal when they do use the potty and don't give up.
ReplyDeleteBe patient they will do it when ready.
ReplyDeleteDon't make a fuss, Little one has been refusing to use the potty for ages,I can see he's trying to get a reaction from me, so I smile and say ok. The other day he told me to take his nappy off because he wanted his potty. they will do it when they are ready x
