Some of my favourite activities actually have a very low cost or even better they are absolutely free.
Playing at the park.
Trip to the library.
Geocaching.
Movie day.
Crafting.
The best days out are actually the spontaneous ones. We recently went out for a walk up in the fields behind where my husband used to live. It was wonderful to be out as a family together in the fresh air, blowing away those cob webs that have formed over the Winter months.
Climbing hills
Following trails
Talking about our surroundings
We bought snacks (kindly provided by Ffrees family finance) and drinks with us to keep our energy levels up. It may have been rather windy and thank god for wellies because it sure was muddy but time just flew by.
The girls were learning how to climb trees.
Of course daddy had to join in too.
We even found a Christmas tree!!
3 hours of wandering, discovering and looking at some beautiful views, we really could have stay out longer well if some tummys haddn't started rumbling that is.
It done us all the world of good, exercising without the effort, we came back feeling relaxed and already thinking about where we could go next time.
Smiles all round and best of all no money was spent so our piggy banks remain full for another day.
What are your favourite days out for under £20?
