It's weigh in time again, I have to admit I've been scared to step on the scales. My official "time of the month" finally appeared on Saturday and it's still lingering now and this plays havoc with both my body shape and my weight.
So what's the results?
I have lost a 1lb since last week but seen as I'm still bloated oat from period I'm hoping to see better results next week. Will update this post with my measurements as I am going to buy a tape measure today.
I think I've become addicted to exercise, not a day goes by where I don't do something, even if it is just going for a walk with the kids. I'm a week into my kiqplan and I'm enjoying the workouts and the daily tips.
Now food, I'm still struggling with this. I love it but I hate it at the same time. With my kiqplan I have the chance to record my daily calorie intake and it has been interesting to see just how much I'm consuming, or in my case how little. Turns out I need to actually consume more calories but this leads my brain to think a chocolate bar or cake wouldn't hurt then.
I'm doing so well eating healthy meals but I need to transfer this to snack time too. I switched crisps for salted popcorn and I've been trying out recipes for healthy mug cakes but any other snack suggestions would be most welcomed, especially alternatives to chocolate.
My meal plan for the week :
Breakfast : Overnight oats, frozen yoghurt, porridge or a smoothie bowl with lots of fruit.
Lunch : Soup, scrambled egg or suishi with an apple.
Dinner :
Monday : Lentil and red pepper bake.
Tuesday : Jacket potato and baked beans.
Wednesday : Tuna steak and cous cous.
Thursday : Healthy breakfast sandwiches.
Friday : Turkey cottage pie topped with sweet potato.
Saturday : Sweet potato pizza.
Sunday : Healthy roast chicken dinner.
Honestly even though I struggle some days, I'm really pleased with myself. Almost two months in and even with the bad days I still have the determination to not give up or atleast get back on the wagon when I fall off. Reading other bloggers posts going through their weight loss journeys has inspired me to keep going too.

I think your food always looks so appetising on your diet. Well done on the loss - I know exactly what you mean about the time of the month! I find other peoples diet posts helpful too :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely does that food look? It's presented so beautifully but also looks delicious! Well done on your weight loss this week! Have to admit that at 2 months in I am starting to feel it now, I want more and have been pushing myself at the gym even harder... considering a shake only diet for a week or so just to hurry things up - getting slightly impatient! Thanks for linking up with #WeightLossWednesday and hope to see you again next week!
