Project 365 2015 Week 1

I am so excited to be starting project 365 again this year. I'll be changing it up a little this time, my lovely daughters will still feature but there will be a mixture of photographs, I'm hoping by doing things this way that it will keep it interesting for both myself and for those of you who choose to take a look.

We've started off 2015 how we mean to move forward, with home improvements. Mixed in with trying to fill ourselves up with the leftover food and drink from Christmas and recovering from yet more sickness bugs, here's to a good year everybody.

Day 1

The first room of the house to get some much needed TLC is my eldest daughter's. New coving, repainting and soon to come, new carpet. She will finally have a space of her very own.

Day 2

New tradition for our house in 2015, Friday has officially become movie night, the time where we can all sit down together as a family. Although I wasn't so thrilled with their choice of what to watch, Monster High.

Day 3

I bought myself a nice candle holder to go on my fire surround, forgot to buy the candles to go with it. Well I finally rectified that but now I have to wait for the fire surround to be painted before I can display them properly!!

  3. Love the candle holder. Bet the eldest will enjoy a room of her own, especially after the last year, hope she keeps it tidy after all your effort.
A family film night sounds good, but yes the films may leave a bit to be desired.

Gorgeous candle holder and I love the idea of a movie night, though, like you, I don't think I will always appreciate the kids' film choices! x
