Read With Me #45

Waves, welcome to this weeks Read With Me. I can't believe we are now in November but what I'm even more impressed about is the fact that you lovely lot have continued to link up every week so I just wanted to start this weeks post by thanking you all, it really is very much appreciated.

One thing I really love about reading is finding new authors, especially ones that aren't so well established.

I always leave reviews on amazon and good reads as I think it's important to support their efforts.

An author that I'm proud to support is Rachel Medhurst.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to receive advanced copies of both her series of books, The Deadliners and The Avoidables.

Both series are different and yet both extremely captivating. Brilliant to see just how diverse one author can be.

I've been that impressed by her work that I recently purchased her latest book, Choice, which is now top of my TBR list. I'd love it if you could check out her work, the first part of The Avoidable is free to purchase on kindle to you have no excuse not to have a peek.

On to the all important link up. Last week there were a few new faces linking up which excited me no end, one of my favourite posts was from KA over on Life As Our Little Family, sharing her reading advent calendar.

If you are new to #ReadWithMe take a look here. All you golden oldies get linking, commenting and hopefully displaying my badge.

Happy reading.

  1. What a great opportunity, getting advances of the new series! I agree it's really important to support authors. I'm lucky enough to have a coupe of good friends that have gone in to become published and respected authors and I know how tough it can be. Will take a look at Rachel Medhurst's work when I get a chance.

  3. Hello! I have several books on my linked post this week - some Christmas Gift ideas for the reader(s) in your life, or even a treat for yourself.

I love new or lesser known authors too, and while I prefer paper I do have the kindle app, a free book? you are spoiling us :-)
