R is for ….. Reading

If you hadn't guessed already from my weekly linky #readwithme I love to read.

And I'm really happy to say that my kids have caught the reading bug too.

My children owned books before they were even born.

I've read to them most nights, even babies enjoy a good story.

So the letter R for the alphabet project this week stands for…… reading.

Books come in all shapes and sizes.

Reading them lets people learn.

They let imaginations run wild.

And the best part, anyone can read, books are for everyone, no matter what age you are.

Whether you are just looking at the pictures and making up your own stories, or following the words on the page.

Curling up by yourself or having someone read to you.

I think reading is an essential part of life.
