I do love a good surprise and I have to say I think this may have been the best box to date.
So what was inside??
Portlebay Popcorn £0.79 per pack : Now this isn't your typical popcorn. This small crew from Devon have actually created what they call kracklecorn. They are the perfect mix of salty and sweet, my favourite had to be the crispy bacon and maple syrup, a surprisingly winning combination.
Maggi : I was a lover of the So Juicy packet mixes before Degustabox kindly sent me some. They take the fuss out of cooking, allowing you to make quick and simple meals but without losing any flavour. I hadn't tried the So Baked ones before, I'm here to tell everyone that they need to try the chicken & leek bake!!
Dr Oetker Eton Mess £1.99 Violet Crystals £1.29 : Dr Oetker seems to have become a regular in the mothly Degustabox, I'm not complaining, I love to bake and this has allowed me to try out some great cake recipes. Just last week I made some lovely jam filled muffins using icing and the eton mess sprinkles as the topping, they gave the muffins a little edge.
Hornsby's Blueberry Cider £1.29 each :
I've previously had some Hornsby's cider in one of previous Degustaboxes.
I really enjoyed them and the blueberry flavour didn't disappoint either, I like that the flavouring doesn't taste artificial!!
Green & Blacks Lemon Bar £2.29 :
I've always preferred dark chocolate and Green & Blacks is a favourite of mine, ever since my little brother introduced me to their butterscotch flavour.
Until I received July's box, I didn't know that Green & Blacks made a lemon one.
Now I was good, I actually shared with my kids and there was mixed reactions to it. Myself and my 4 year old weren't so keen on it. To be fair I am not lemons biggest fan so this isn't anything against the chocolate just the lemon flavouring. My other 3 kids loved it though so the chocolate didn't go to waste.
Frank snack bar £0.85 : These bars are made from 100% natural ingredients and come in 5 different flavours : Blueberry, Strawberry, Orange, Oat and Double Chocolate. They are all free from gluten, nuts, dairy and refined sugar. They are also a great source of protein making them the perfect naughty but nice treat, or great for after a good workout at the gym.
The Berry Company £1.49 :
This company produce a wide range of juices and fruit flavoured teas and are actually one of Europe's fastest growing drinks brands.
I received their peach flavoured white tea to try.
Now I'm not huge fan of tea so I was honestly shocked at how much I enjoyed drinking this.
The peach flavouring wasn't too overpowering and I was left feeling refreshed and wanting more when the bottle was empty.
Overall another great box from Degustabox, a great range of food and drinks, leaving me with plenty of new ideas of what to pop on my shopping list.
Now if you fancy trying out Degustabox yourself, you can use the code 146LI to get yourself a £3.00 discount off your first box when you register.
