The synopsis :
What would you do if all your memories were gone?
One day Kassie wakes up and realizes that her life is nothing but an endless emptiness…
One tragic incident takes away everything that she has ever cherished and loved: family, friends and all the best moments that she ever lived through.
Now everything seems unknown, including a beautiful stranger,
whose mere look makes her heart beat faster.
Who is that reckless and mysterious man? Is he just an old friend or an enemy? Sinking into the vortex of indescribable emotions, they will give in to the most irresistible temptation ever,
just to fall in love with each other, again and again…
The concept of the book is intriguing, this girl wakes up in hospital but what's happened, why is she there?
Kas has no recollection of what has happened, infact she can't remember a lot at all, so when what she believes to be a stranger comes into her hospital room, she struggles to know whether the instant attraction she feels is because she knows him or just a simple case of finiding him attractive.
Daniel turns out to be an old 'friend' but there seems to be things that he is not saying.
And then there is Emily, Daniel's sister, Kas's best friend, is there something she is hiding too?
The story builds slowly with Kas piecing together the missing moments from her life but the question is, will she like what she finds out??
The book is packed with lies, drama, lust and love and although there is plenty going on, it actually makes for an easy read, I would like to see Emily's story written next.

ReplyDeleteLaura x x x
I have liked all the books I've read from this author :)
DeleteThis book sounds great, I love that the first chapter is on her blog - a great way of letting people try out your work without having to buy the whole book. I wish more authors did things like that. I bought several of Christopher Brookmyre's books after picking up a freebie of the first chapter of his debut novel in a shop once.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fab idea isn't it, otherwise you can sometimes not read a book because you don't think it will be for you and you end up missing out on something fab x
DeleteSounds like a good read will be on amazon later and I will look it up
