Cow & Gates Growing Up Milk Review

I was very lucky with my eldest two, they have always ate a well balanced diet and have always had a healthy appetite. My youngrst two are the complete opposite, it isn't that they are fussy, they will quite happily eat plenty of different fruits and vegetables but it is the amount they eat that has me worried. Some days I struggle to get them to eat anything apart from breakfast, they will sit and pick at things rather than eat full meals. This in turn leaves me wondering whether they are getting enough vitamins and minerals in their diet.

I was recently sent a couple of cartons of Cow & Gate growing up milk. Could this be the answer to my problems??

Cow & Gates growing up milk can be bought in powder form or in 200ml or 1 litre ready made cartons.

Packed with loads of vitamins and minerals, it is the perfect drink for your little ones. In fact just two beakers a day provides 100% of the vitamin D daily allowance, perfect for your childs growing bones. It also contains things like omega 3 and iron.

Layla didn't seem to notice the difference between the growing up milk and normal milk, she drank it by the cupful quite happily.

I know it says it is for 1-2 year olds but I got my older children to try it too and they said it was just as nice as cows milk. And just the same as normal milk, you can use it cooking too, so perfect to add into things like sauces, eggs etc to get in those extra vitamins.

Obviously your child needs to eat a well balanced diet alongside drinking the milk, but it is nice to know that they are definitely getting some of the harder to get nutrients into their systems.

The only thing that puts me off is the price. You pay around £2 for 1 litre of growing up milk where as you can pay a £1 for 4 pints of cows milk, when you compare it does seem expensive but on the flip side if you were to pay for vitamin drops/tablets to top up your childs diet, then you would paying an awful lot more.

Overall a fantastic product that we will definitely be buying more of in the future.
