It is funny how time makes you forget things though. My mum happened to point out to me recently that there is a park near where she lives, I should know, I did live with her for quite a while ;)
This park has recently had a makeover with all new swings, slides etc so we decided to go round there with nannie last weekend.
It has now become my favourite park. Not too big, something for all the kids to do and most importantly it is a big open space surrounded by fences, I can see what all of the girls are doing from wherever I'm standing which left them free to go and play on whatever they wanted.
Freya is the climber
Gracie loves to show of her independence
I think Layla is just happy to be out of the pushchair.
And Elise likes to show off :)
Do you have a favourite park that you like to visit??
xxxx
Fabulous day in the park :) I know what you mean about keeping an eye on them all at the same time though, and I've only got three :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely need eyes in the back of my head!!! x
DeleteGosh I find it hard with the two. Both go in different directions and Emmy always shouts for me to watch her which isn't always possible when Harry is climbing.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lovely local park, well it's nice when the teenagers aren't there setting fire to all the equipment
mmmm yes a couple of parks have been vandalised by teenagers, extemely annoying. That is the trouble isn't it, they are all wanting some sort of attention x
DeleteWe love the park, always lots of (free!) fun to be had there! Lovely pictures.

being free just makes it even better doesn't it :) x
DeleteThere are three parks near here that I frequent with my youngest five, I'm fine until someone tries to strike up a conversation with me and then I'm just so distracted keeping my eyes in five places that I can't concentrate on what the person is trying to say to me!
ReplyDeletehaha that's when you use the nod and agree technique ;) x
DeleteHow nice that the park has been refurbished, near to your Mum's so she can come and help keep an eye on the children too - a win/win for everyone. Thanks for linking up and sharing your fun photos with Country Kids.
ReplyDeletewe like win wins :) thank you as always for hosting x
DeleteThat's awesome that you have a park that's so open and safe where you can feel comfortable letting your girls lose and letting them explore the open space. We have a few within walking distance that are like this that I just love. I can't wait till my kids are older where they don't need my help to play 2 yo and a 8mon still need mommy to do the slides with them. hahaha Your pictures are fantastic looks like the girls have a blast at this park. Always great to have it near by too. Thank you so much for sharing your post on Share With Me. I love reading your posts and learning more about you and your awesome blog. #sharewithme
ReplyDeleteaaww thanks for the comment Jenny. I know what you mean, Layla still needs help but she also likes to just toddle off. The park is the perfect place for them all just to get rid of some energy, although they still come away with more than me lol. I really enjoyed your living room post the other day, such a pretty room x
Deletegreat to see it refurbed. being on my own with mine I love our little parks
ReplyDeleteSo nice to be able to watch them running around isn't it xx
