Read With Me #5

Wow so we are now into the month of February. Last month I managed to read a total of eleven books!!! I aim to read atleast that amount again this month. Thank you so much to all of you who linked up with Read With Me in January, I hope you continue to do so.

Last week I read three books, Falling Into You and Falling Into Us by Jasinda Wilder and In This Moment by Autumn Doughton but the one that really stood out for me was Falling Into You by Jasinda Wilder.

The first of two books, it was actually the blurb of the book that made me want to read it :

"I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway, I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle first. Kyle was my first love, my first in every way.

Then one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.

Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it ok. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay and eventually, how to let go."

The blurb above already had me feeling emotional. The story follows Nell, we see her through her up and downs, her good and bad days and I really felt what she felt. I'm not ashamed to say that I cried a lot!!! It is a story about survival, surviving loss, surviving heart break and surviving grief. Colton helps Nell but as you will find out if you decide to pick up this book, Nell also helps Colton.

I love the way Jasinda has written this book, you can feel the passion, the pain, all of the building emotions just rolling off of the pages. I look forward to reading more of her books.

Now it is your turn, please link up any of your book related posts, be it adult or kids books, I look forward to reading them all.

  1. Falling Into You sounds like a well written book if it provoked that much emotion in you.
