Ingredients
* 750g Fresh Beef Mince
* 1 Large Onion
* 1 Courgette
* Box of Lasagne Pasta Sheets
* 2 Jars of sauce, one red, one white (ok I admit I cheated and didn't do it all from scratch)
* Mixed Herbs
* Cheese for grating on top
Preparation
* Dice the onion and cut the courgette into small chunks.
* Fry the onion for 2-3 minutes.
* Add the mince to brown it off.
* Stir in the courgettes and pour on the red sauce.
* Place a layer of white sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker to prevent sticking then layer the sheets of pasta and mince, starting with the pasta.
* Once the final layer of mince has been added spread another layer of white sauce over the top and leave to cook on low for around 2 and half hours.
* At this point grate cheese over the top of the lasagne and leave to cook for another hour or so. Each slow cooker will vary for cooking times so keep an nearer the end as it may need a little longer than stated.
Even my mum was impressed because it came out in perfect layers and everything was cooked to perfection. Next time I will have to make the sauces from scratch because I'm sure it would taste even better.
