I was recently sent a headband from Cute Cute Boutique to review. Cute Cute is a site created by the lovely Magda, she provides a beautiful selection of clothes and accessories for both boys and girls including bowties and even photo props.
It was sort of a surprise because although I knew I would be receiving a headband, I didn't know what it would look like. Arriving wrapped up securely in tissue paper complete with Cute Cute sticker, I was excited to see what the package contained.
I fell in love with the hairband as soon as I saw it. Displayed beautifully, I couldn't wait to try it on Layla. Complete with flower, bow and feathers, it was perfectly girly however the colours were neutral enough that I could match it up to many different outfits.
I was a bit worried when I took it out of the packaging that it was maybe a little too heavy due to all of the embellishments but Layla didn't seem to be bothered by the weight of it.
The headband is extremely easy to fit as it has a bit of stretch to it. And what I love is that you can change how it looks as you can wear the headband with the embellishments placed on either side of the head, so the flower can be placed at the top or the bottom.
The headband is very well made, Layla was pulling it off, stretching it and trying to put it back on herself and everything stayed stuck in its place, this is a big positive to me because I have bought hair accessories in that past that have come unglued almost instantly.
You would be looking to pay around £11.00 for this headband which may seem a tad on the expensive side but you are paying for the quality, something that will last, rather than paying 2, 3 times over for hair accessories that keep breaking.
Available in sizes from newborn right up to adults, that's right you can treat yourself too, these headbands are indeed cute cute. Not only great for every day use but ideal for special occasions such as weddings, christenings and birthdays too.
xxxx
Disclaimer : I was sent this headband free of charge for reviewig purposes however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
We reviewed a Cute Cute headband also, they are lovely aren't they! And oh my the one Layla is wearing is gorgeous, she really suits it! x
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, seriously thinking of getting my own one :) x
DeleteAh bless, Libby often gets mistaken for a boy too, she's just got enough hair to hold a clip now so that seems to stop people from getting so confused! ;)
ReplyDeleteaaawww Layla's seems to be growing at the back but not at the front lol x
DeleteI love that it looks a bit vintagey! We loved Chloe's headband too - like you say they're expensive but I think they're a bit more "special occasion" than every day hair bands :)
