I Am Thankful

This year I am hoping to write less reviews and write more personal posts but sometimes I struggle to find ideas of things to post, I suppose you would call it a form of writers block.

I've noticed two new linkys appearing this week in the blogging world and they have both prompted me to write this post.

The first linky is from The Reading Residence and is called word of the week, basically allowing you to sum up your week in one word.

The second linky is from Adventures Of a Monkey Footed Mum and it is called Thankful, I like the idea of this as I can sit down and really think about what I am lucky to have in my life.

This week I thought I would combine the two linkys, so my word of the week is thankful.

So what am I thankful for this week……

Well I think as the first week of the new year is drawing to an end and the thought that the school holidays are almost over, I guess what I am thankful for is family time.

Thankful that my husband was lucky enough to have 2 weeks off from work to enjoy the festive period with us.

Thankful that I am blessed with 4 lovely children to share such a special time of the year with.

Thankful to have the time to sit and talk to one another and the time to also be able to really listen to one another.

Thankful for having another year of family time to look forward too.
