Getting Personal Review

February is fast approaching and with it comes Valentine's day. This is a day that I have come not to expect anything from Daddy Hazelden, not the most romantic person and he certainly isn't good with dates. However I always like to buy him a little something to let him know that even after another year of listening to him snore, I really do still love him loads. The trouble I have is what to buy the fussiest person who seems to have everything already?? This is where Getting Personal kindly stepped in to help.

Getting Personal is a company that was created in 2005, starting by selling personalised calendars. Over the years they have extended their range and they continue to stock unique and personal gifts that you just can't find on the high street.

I had a good look through their Valentine's range, the choice was immense, from personalised mix tapes, to posters, jewellery and even naming a star. I decided the best way to my man's heart was through his stomach ;)

My packages arrived quickly and well packaged. Inside the parcels were a personalised bottle of wine, a chocolate pizza and a Valentine's kit for making my own Valentine's cards.

More than impressed with what I received, I had the choice of what kind of wine to drink ie red, white or rose and I was able to put recipent and sender names on the bottle, the unique label really gives it that special touch.

The chocolate pizza is available in different sizes and flavours, I opted for the crunchy munchy flavour, I was even able to write a nice personalised message that Daddy Hazelden will get to read when he opens up his pizza, although if I'm honest, he may only end up with half a pizza because the pizza box has been calling to me, it looks truly scrumptious.

I had fun with the card making kit. For the price of £9.49 you get 10 cards and envelopes along with sheets of paper, ribbon, stencil and stickers, that makes it less than £1.00 per card.

You can see below that I have tried my best to make my very own Valentine's card, I'm hoping when you look at it, you feel love!! I won't show you the inside of the card just incase a certain someone is reading this post.

The girls have been using the rest of the kit to make their own cards, we just won't tell Daddy Hazelden about those boys that they like.

All the products seem great value for money, especially with the personalised element added to them. I'm looking foward to surprising Daddy Hazelden when he comes home from work on Valentine's day,  fingers crossed he decides to share his presents with his loving wife.
