Celebrate Good Times

After Christmas, my bank balance is always left feeling more than a bit poorly but unfortunately it doesn't have time to recover because January, February and March are filled will lots and lots of family and friends birthdays.

This week is always one of my favourites though, even if it does prove expensive, as it is time for my mum, Freya and I to become another year older, even if I do wish that I could stay forever 21 ;)

So my word of the week is Celebrate.

I've celebrated my mums birthday and made sure that she knows how much we all appreciate her, I even made her a cake.

At the weekend I will be celebrating Freya's birthday, can't believe that she will be 6 years old, the old say springs to mins, time flys when you're having fun!!

And at the beginning of next week I will be edging ever closer to 30. I don't normally celebrate my own birthday, since becoming a mum it seems like any other day to me plus I am not one for being centre of attention, although I am looking forward to the handmade cards I've been promised from my kids.

I love spoiling others and making them smile on their special day and of course it is a great opportunity to catch up with family and celebrate good times!!!

  8. Lovely post but please do celebrate your birthday - it is another year that you are here when others who would be your age are not. That is worth celebrating and there must be cake!
