Lets Play Together

Having four children means that there are more than the occasional argument, bickering over silly things, you know the ones, "I was playing with that toy", "so and so won't share with me", "she hit me", I could go on.

Most of the time my lot will separate into pairs, Elise and Gracie and Freya and Layla, it is lovely to see close bonds and this way means that one of them isn't getting left out, more like they are best friends.

However it isn't very often that all four of them will play together nicely at the same time so when I saw them all interacting, I just had to capture the moment. From what I could gather from listening in, they were playing shop, selling and buying lots of things, it was nice that the older three were making an effort to include their baby sister even though she really didn't understand what they were doing.

Do your children play nicely together, are they closer with one sibling more than another??

  2. What a wonderful post - I love the photo. It's great when you capture something special like this. We only have one (toddler) so we don't have the sibling rivalry but she generally plays well at nursery. Lovely post, thank you so much for sharing with #whatsthestory
