Brothermax Ray Bath and Room Thermometer Review

I have previously reviewed the Brothermax bunny light, so I know just how good their products can be, so when I was offered the chance to review their digital bath and room thermometer, I accepted immediately.

The Brothermax Ray Bath and Room digital thermometer is another practical yet fun product because not only is it an essential gadget, it doubles up as a bath toy and it's quirky shapes means that it is way better than any rubber duck.

I received the lovely creature in pistachio but you can also purchase it in lavender, aqua and tangerine. All the colours are very appealing to the eye which is great because colour is certainly what gets noticed by the kids.

The screen which shows the temperature is LCD and it is quite large and very easy to read.

Extremely simple to use in either bath or room. The digital display, tells you the temperature and above this it tells you the safe temperatures for both room and bath. A comfortable temperature for a room is around 19 degrees and for a bath it is 37 degrees.

If the temperature goes above 39 degrees in the bath, the clever gadget tells you that the bath is too hot for your little one by blinking with the word HOT!! I tested this out once the kids had evacuated the bath.

As you can see from the picture above Mr Ray floats nicely in the water. Just don't make the mistake I made, first time I tried to used it, the children were already in the bath because me being me had forgotten that it had come in the post that day!! This of course meant that they were picking it up to play with before I had had a chance to read the temperature, mummy fail right there!!

Priced at £15, it is a great addition to that pile of essential baby/child products. You get your moneys worth because it is a triple threat, thermometer for not one but two places and a bath toy. Doing tricks like floating and standing upright, it really is a clever little thing. Also being BPA, Phthlate and PVC free, you don't need to worry about your little ones popping in their mouths, great for me because Layla is at the stage where anything in sight is great to have a chew on!!
